Fans of queer cinema and gothic horror, rejoice! Rising stars Kit Connor and Manu Ríos are set to co-star in Rapture, an atmospheric and terrifying new horror film from playwright-turned-director (and Brandon Flynn’s hubby) Jordan Tannahill.

The film is currently launching sales at the Cannes Film Festival and is slated to begin filming in Hungary later this year.
A Plague, a Monastery, and the Undead
Set in 1348 Yorkshire, Rapture unfolds within the isolated walls of Lansley Abbey, where a group of monks live in strict devotion.
Their peace is shattered when a messenger arrives bearing news of a virulent plague that turns its victims into “revenants”—restless, undead beings.
As the contagion spreads, the monks face a moral dilemma: should they offer sanctuary to the afflicted or protect the centuries of knowledge safeguarded within their monastery?
