At a high-profile Hollywood event last week, Gage humorously referred to Madekwe as his ‘husband,’ sparking widespread conjecture about their relationship status. However, in a recent encounter with TMZ at LAX, Gage set the record straight, emphasizing their strong friendship and dismissing any romantic involvement.

“Me and Archie? Yeah, he’s not (my boyfriend).”

“Look, I’ll take it as a compliment. Archie’s a hottie, yeah, he’s a good one. No, we’re not married. He’s a friend,” he continued.

When asked who his current, ‘celebrity crush’ was, he said it was his Road House co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Road House had its world premiere on Friday, March 8 as the opening night film at the SWSW festival in Austin, Texas. The film debuts on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service March 21, with Gage portraying Billy.
