Tyler Henry Shares Health Update After Second Brain Surgery This Year

Hollywood’s most beloved medium is facing one of his toughest chapters yet as Tyler Henry recovers from his second brain surgery in just six months.

The 29-year-old clairvoyant, known worldwide for comforting strangers with uncanny readings and big-hearted sincerity, is now receiving that care back from the people who adore him the most.

The news came from his husband, artist Clint Godwin, who shared an emotional Instagram update thanking friends, fans, and the universe for carrying them through an overwhelming few weeks.

According to Godwin, doctors discovered that a cyst in Henry’s brain had begun swelling again, leading to renewed symptoms and the difficult decision to operate for a second time.

The surgery follows a previous operation Tyler underwent in May, and it marks the third brain surgery of his life after an emergency procedure shortly after his eighteenth birthday.

Despite all of this, Godwin says Tyler is “recovering well,” resting, and surrounded by family, blankets, and more love than even a famous medium can predict.

The update reminded many longtime fans of the heartfelt message Henry shared from his hospital bed earlier this year when he wrote about feeling grateful, lucky, and determined to return to doing the work he believes he was born for.

That earlier post also revealed that the cyst he’s been battling is a benign but stubborn colloid cyst, a slow-growing mass that sometimes requires repeated treatment according to the National Institutes of Health.

Tyler’s journey has always blended vulnerability with purpose, and he has frequently said that overcoming health scares early in life shaped his belief in timing, trust, and staying present.

Fans have flooded social media with well-wishes, calling the star resilient, radiant, and a reminder that even the people who help others heal need support of their own.

Godwin echoed that sentiment, saying the two of them feel “so loved by so many” and that this third surgery will hopefully be the charm.

While Tyler rests and recovers, the LGBTQ+ community continues cheering him on with all the tenderness he’s shown others for years.

Here’s wishing him strength, softness, and the smoothest healing ahead.
