Jonathan Bailey, the 36-year-old star of “Wicked” and “Bridgerton,” has recently shared candid insights into his personal life and future aspirations.
In a revealing interview with British Vogue, Bailey discussed his desire to become a father, stating, “Yes, it’s such a privilege for a man.”
However, he acknowledged that his current lifestyle doesn’t permit it, emphasizing the importance of being present for his future children.
To prepare, he’s been reading books on adoption and is considering co-parenting, potentially with a man, though he’s open to co-parenting with a woman as well.
Reflecting on his past, Bailey opened up about a two-year relationship with a woman in his early 20s, prior to coming out as gay.
He noted the complexities of sexuality, stating, “It’s interesting with the binary, where you’re perceived to be either this or that.”
He emphasized that the relationship wasn’t about hiding his true self, as she remains one of his best friends.

Bailey also touched on public displays of affection in same-sex relationships, sharing an experience where he and a boyfriend were heckled in London.
Despite such incidents, he remains optimistic, noting that positive reactions now outweigh the negative ones.

He continues to be a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, with upcoming roles that fans eagerly anticipate.
