BBC Three’s groundbreaking gay dating show I Kissed a Boy is back for a second season, premiering on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 9 PM on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.

Hosted once again by the fabulous Dannii Minogue and narrated by the ever-charming Layton Williams, the show returns to the picturesque Italian masseria, setting the stage for another summer of love, laughter, and lip-locks.
A Trailblazing Return
I Kissed a Boy made history in 2023 as the UK’s first gay male dating show, earning acclaim for its authentic representation of queer relationships.
The format remains delightfully daring: ten single men are matched and meet with a kiss—no small talk, just chemistry.

This season continues to celebrate diversity and inclusivity, introducing the show’s first-ever trans contestant, Lars, a 23-year-old hotel receptionist from Wolverhampton.
Lars expressed pride in being part of a show that embraces and normalizes LGBTQ+ relationships, stating, “It’s messy, it’s joyful, it’s real and it is exactly the kind of representation we need.”
