Hold on to your hats, because “I Kissed a Boy” is coming back for a second season! On May 21, the BBC officially announced the renewal of this trailblazing series, marking its continued legacy as the UK’s first-ever same-sex dating show. And yes, the fabulous Dannii Minogue is returning to sprinkle her magic as our beloved Cupid once more.

Minogue couldn’t contain her excitement, sharing, “I am so excited that I’ll be back in Italy to play cupid. I can’t wait to meet the next cast when the Masseria doors open… There are so many diverse and important stories yet to tell. And be sure that I’ll have the party started for a wonderful summer of love.”

The show’s inaugural season garnered widespread acclaim for its diverse and inclusive cast, vibrant depiction of queer male culture, and a killer pop soundtrack. Dannii Minogue’s charisma, hosting prowess, and impeccable fashion choices were especially celebrated. Its popularity even paved the way for a sapphic spin-off, “I Kissed a Girl,” currently airing on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer. This sister series follows a similar format, featuring 10 contestants who meet and kiss upon their first encounter, deciding through a series of “kiss-offs” whether to stay with their initial match or pursue someone new.
