Actor Zane Phillips, best known for his breakout roles in Legacies and Fire Island, has once again thrilled fans with a sizzling new photo shoot. Shot by the talented Viktor Csontos in Honolulu, Hawaii, Phillips’s latest photoshoot is causing quite the stir online.

Born in Denver, Colorado, and later moving to Fredericksburg, Texas, Phillips, now 30, has had an impressive career trajectory. His career took off with a recurring role on The CW’s Legacies, followed by a standout performance in the 2022 film Fire Island. More recently, he starred in Netflix’s Glamorous and appeared in the final season of Good Trouble. After spending several years in New York, Phillips relocated to Los Angeles last year, embracing the city’s vibrant entertainment industry.

Despite his rising fame and the legions of photographers eager to capture his image, Phillips has openly discussed his struggles with body image. In a candid interview with Men’s Health earlier this year, he revealed, “I have had a really poor relationship with my body from a very early age. I remember there was a period of time from third grade to eighth grade where I refused to wear shorts—and this was in Texas, mind you; it was hot as hell—simply because I didn’t like the way my legs looked.”

Phillips, who is openly gay, shared that these insecurities were compounded by his experiences as a queer individual. “I think it has to do with being queer, too, but male body insecurity in general is this weird insidious thing where it’s never spoken aloud.” Despite these challenges, Phillips has found a way to separate work rejections from his sense of self, using constructive feedback to grow and develop in his career.

In addition to his acting talents, Phillips’s fans are buzzing with speculation about him potentially taking on the role of Hercules in Disney’s upcoming live-action remake. When asked about it at the 35th GLAAD Awards in Los Angeles, Phillips responded with enthusiasm, “I would love to do it. Honestly, listen… it’s so funny, like, I have a musical theater background. I’ve sung that song [‘Go The Distance’] in a weird, random cabaret before. I love that movie.”
