Our boy Kit Connor just spilled the tea on what’s coming in Season 3 of Netflix’s beloved LGBTQ+ series, and let’s just say, it’s getting hot in here! The inside scoop came straight from the very first episode of the official Heartstopper podcast, which dropped today, featuring Kit and his on-screen soulmate, Joe Locke. And girl, was it a doozy!
Our fabulous Tia Kofi, who you may know as a queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, had the honor of grilling the boys, and she didn’t hold back. When she cheekily asked Kit for a preview of Season 3, he didn’t mince words. “Sex, sex, sex,” Kit declared with a grin, adding, “It’s great sex, very, very good. But it wasn’t all about the, ahem, extracurricular activities. Tia also got the guys to dish about what other TV gigs they’ve got their eyes on. Joe, ever the ambitious one, threw his hat in the ring for a guest judge spot on Drag Race. We can totally picture him serving face and fierce commentary on the runway! Kit couldn’t resist teasing Joe, saying, “Joe thinks very highly of himself,” to which Joe, with a cheeky smile, replied, “Yes, I have an incredible ego.” We stan a confident king!

Kit, on the other hand, had his sights set on something a bit more, let’s say, British. He mentioned he would have loved to be in Fleabag, that deliciously dark and witty series we all binged with obsession. Kit in the Fleabag universe? Yes, please!
As the conversation turned to mentors, things got a bit more heartfelt. Joe opened up about how much Kit has meant to him, saying that Kit has been a mentor in many ways. Talk about friendship goals! Kit, being the humble yet charming gent he is, passed the credit to Sir Tom Courtenay, who he worked with on Grandpa’s Great Escape. He spoke fondly of the legendary actor, saying Sir Tom had been a great influence on him.
