For someone dating the man behind the Real Housewives empire, Kevin Sobieski has a surprising confession.
He has never watched a single episode.
Andy Cohen shared the revelation during an appearance on NBC’s Today while celebrating two decades of the wildly successful Bravo franchise.
Asked whether his boyfriend enjoys the shows, Cohen laughed and admitted that Sobieski has “not seen one frame.”
The revelation surprised many fans given how closely Cohen’s career has become associated with The Real Housewives.
As executive producer and longtime reunion host, Cohen has helped transform the franchise into one of reality television’s biggest global brands.
Yet his own partner remains blissfully unfamiliar with the endless arguments, unforgettable one-liners and iconic table flips.
Cohen says he wouldn’t have it any other way.
He joked that modern technology is slowly introducing Sobieski to the Bravo universe because social media algorithms have started recommending Housewives-related content.
Even so, Cohen says Kevin still has very little idea who anyone is.
Rather than seeing that as a problem, Cohen explained that what matters most is the kind of person Sobieski is away from television.
He praised his boyfriend for loving both him and his children, Ben and Lucy.
The couple have been together for just over a year.
They first met at a party in the Hamptons during the summer of 2025 and quietly dated for nearly a year before Cohen publicly confirmed the relationship in June 2026.
Since then, the Bravo host has spoken warmly about taking a slow and thoughtful approach to introducing Sobieski into family life.
He has described the relationship as remarkably easy and previously revealed that the pair had not experienced a serious argument during their first year together.
The couple also made their relationship Instagram official in July with a smiling date-night photo that was warmly received by friends and Bravo personalities.
The story offers a reminder that even one of television’s biggest reality stars can separate work from home.
Kevin Sobieski may eventually become a Housewives fan.
For now, however, Andy Cohen seems perfectly happy knowing his boyfriend fell in love with the man rather than the television phenomenon.
