Oh honey, if you thought Heartstopper was steamy before, get ready to fan yourself! Our boy Kit Connor just spilled the tea on whatโs coming in Season 3 of Netflixโs beloved LGBTQ+ series, and letโs just say, itโs getting hot in here! The inside scoop came straight from the very first episode of the official Heartstopper podcast, which dropped today, featuring Kit and his on-screen soulmate, Joe Locke. And girl, was it a doozy!
Our fabulous Tia Kofi, who you may know as a queen from RuPaulโs Drag Race UK, had the honor of grilling the boys, and she didnโt hold back. When she cheekily asked Kit for a preview of Season 3, he didnโt mince words. โSex, sex, sex,โ Kit declared with a grin, adding, โItโs great sex, very, very good. Immediately they just turn pros.โ Now, if thatโs not a tease to keep us all glued to our screens, I donโt know what is!

But it wasnโt all about the, ahem, extracurricular activities. Tia also got the guys to dish about what other TV gigs theyโve got their eyes on. Joe, ever the ambitious one, threw his hat in the ring for a guest judge spot on Drag Race. We can totally picture him serving face and fierce commentary on the runway! Kit couldnโt resist teasing Joe, saying, โJoe thinks very highly of himself,โ to which Joe, with a cheeky smile, replied, โYes, I have an incredible ego.โ We stan a confident king!

Kit, on the other hand, had his sights set on something a bit more, letโs say, British. He mentioned he would have loved to be in Fleabag, that deliciously dark and witty series we all binged with obsession. Kit in the Fleabag universe? Yes, please!

As the conversation turned to mentors, things got a bit more heartfelt. Joe opened up about how much Kit has meant to him, saying that Kit has been a mentor in many ways. Talk about friendship goals! Kit, being the humble yet charming gent he is, passed the credit to Sir Tom Courtenay, who he worked with on Grandpaโs Great Escape. He spoke fondly of the legendary actor, saying Sir Tom had been a great influence on him.
Itโs moments like these that remind us why we adore this cast so much. Theyโre not just playing characters; theyโre bringing parts of themselves to the screen, creating a show that resonates deeply with the LGBTQ+ community.
As we gear up for the new season, weโre not just excited for the โsex, sex, sexโ (though thatโs definitely a plus); weโre here for the friendships, the growth, and the pure, unfiltered joy that Heartstopper continues to bring into our lives.
So, darlings, mark your calendars, grab your tissues (and maybe a fan), because Season 3 is about to take us on a wild, sexy ride! And who knows, maybe weโll see Joe judging on Drag Race or Kit delivering snark in a Fleabag reboot someday. But for now, weโre more than happy to have them right where they areโbringing queer joy to our screens and making us all feel like part of their fabulous world.
