“When I was a little kid I knew that something was different about me. I had feelings I always tried to push away from a very young age. I had feelings for a boy I always ignored because I was afraid. I felt like I was the only one in the whole world that felt this way. I was drowning myself in denial. Telling myself that it’ll pass and that one day I’ll be like everyone else. I will be “normal”.





I’m so thankful and so so grateful that I got to be a part of this whole journey. What we’ve been through the last couple of years is rare. To get to know and work with this incredible cast and crew, and tell this beautiful story that little Omar only would dream of, is a blessing and I’ll remember this time of my life forever and ever. You guys have and will always have a very special place in my heart.





Thanks to all of us, together, we created history. Let’s keep fighting for our rights to love. Our rights to exist. And let’s keep being fu*king loud about it.

Colton Haynes, renowned actor best known for his roles in hit TV shows ‘Arrow’ and ‘Teen Wolf’, recently opened up on the Johnny Sibilly Q&A show called “Logo Spill,” shedding light on aspects of his love life, his passions, and the cost of coming out in Hollywood. Sibilly, offering a safe space for conversation and camaraderie, was the perfect host for the candid discussion.





Haynes, always the overachiever, amusingly professed to having 50,000 hobbies while pouring his heart out about his relationship struggles. While he has previously been open about his love life, having dated both celebrity florist Jeff Leatham and model/designer Rafael Larrinaga, it’s clear his quest for love is not yet over.

Coming out in 2016, Haynes has been very vocal about the trials he faced as a young, gay actor in Hollywood. He revealed that early in his career, he felt immense pressure to keep his sexuality hidden, a burden which unfortunately led him down a dark path of substance misuse. The actor has been sober for many years now and uses his platform to advocate for mental health and sobriety. 





Haynes also touched upon his turbulent family life growing up. Despite the challenges, it’s evident that these experiences haven’t hardened him but have shaped him into the outspoken advocate and beloved actor he is today.
