The guys I meet are too clubby and are just too much about sex.

I have tried to meet guys both in the bars and on the Internet.

Unfortunately, nowadays it is very hard to find someone who is boyfriend material. Specially if you live in big cities.

There are too many temptations and the grass always seems greener on the other side.

However, there are a lot of guys out there who are looking for someone just like you. So what to do? all you can do is keep looking.

Don’t give up. He is out there somewhere and you will find him. It will take time, patience and most import of all, you need to be out there looking.

He will not come to your house, knock at your door and ask you out (well, at least it’s very unlikely).

There are potential gay boyfriend material everywhere in the big cities: restaurants, gyms, bookstores, gay social events, gay neighborhoods, internet chat rooms and dating apps,  and even as close as your apartment building.

It may be a bit harder to find gay guys in smaller cities but they exist there too. They’re just a bit more hidden.

The key is not to give up and not to stay at home too much.

And of course, you have to have something to offer, so go to the gym, work out, work on your confidence, work on your communication skills and very important…be happy, no matter what.

The truth is that no matter who you find, if you are not happy with yourself, you will never be happy with someone else.

Canadian Eric Radford becomes the first openly gay man to win gold at the Winter Olympics

“I literally feel like I might explode with pride,” Eric posted on Twitter after the event, which he won with skating partner Meagan Duhamel.

The duo skated to Adele’s “Hometown Glory” on Sunday at Gangneung Ice Arena in Gangneung, South Korea.

“If you have the wrong piece of music and it doesn’t connect with the audience or the judges, it doesn’t really matter how great you skate,” Radford, 33, told CBC Radio. “You’re gonna be missing something.”

Radford also celebrated the achievement with Adam Rippon, Team USA’s first openly gay Winter Olympian. Adam took home the bronze medal for the USA.

It’s been a great last year for Eric. In June 2017, Eric proposed to his boyfriend Luis Fenero (he said yes):

“I’ve learned that the best things in life have a level of simplicity to them. I see it in art, I hear it in music and I feel it with this man. Loving him is simple and beautiful. Mature Gay – How can you find a partner in a youth oriented dating scene?

Dear Max,
I am looking for a partner, but I think I am too old to find one.

I am a 64 years old mature gay man and I feel like I no longer have a chance to compete with all the young guys out there.

There is such a focus on youth and fitness in the gay community which makes it hard for older guys like me to find anyone to love. It would be great to find someone to grow old with, because I am tired of being alone.

I think that you never get too old for the possibility of finding someone to share your life with.

Life is too beautiful to have no one to share it with and I certainly believe there is always someone out there for everyone.

One of my readers emailed me and said he met his husband when he was 80 years old! He’s now 85.

Keep looking and sooner or later you will find someone who will see how great you are.

A lot of people like older guys so be creative and look on the Internet, chat rooms, dating web sites, bars, social clubs, community groups & even at supermarkets.

There’s even a worldwide organization for older gay men called Prime Timers. They may have a chapter in your area.

Don’t forget to smile and be open to everyone. Not everyone may seem like a good fit right away, but they may grow on you as you get to know them.

Keep your goal in mind that you want to find someone for the long haul and not just someone to jump in bed with for the night.

How can you know for sure if the guy you are into is gay or not?

I have been looking for a guy for some time now and I think I have found two.

I really do not know for sure if they are gay or not though.

The one guy likes to talk to me when his collage friends are not around. He also hits on me when we are alone.

The second guy I met at a church outing. Him and I talked all night about how I grew up and how life is treating me.

The other thing is this guy admits to having a guy relationship.

What am I supposed to do ?

Dear Danny,
It sounds like both of them are gay, or at least bi. Straight guys don’t usually admit to having had a relationship with another guy. Or hit on other men, even if they are alone.

So if you are interested in one of them, or both, I think you should just ask them out.

Of course, there are no guarantees that they will say yes but if you don’t take any chances in life you’re not likely to reap any rewards worth having.

And they seem to be pretty open minded so if they happen to be straight, most likely they will just tell you without getting upset.

But it is really all up to you. You are a young gay guy and the whole world is yours for the taking.

If you don’t feel comfortable doing this you can always look for love somewhere else and just keep these two guys as friends. Friendships are important too, you know.
