Sorry, guys. Unfortunately, Chris Evans is probably not gay. He seems like the kind of hottie that flirts with everyone, male or female, and doesn’t really care what anybody thinks.

And the fact that he’s so gay friendly is no coincidence, because he has confirmed that his brother Scott Evans is gay:

“Yes, I do have a gay brother. I’m down with the gays. Mostly I’m hanging out with him and his gay buddies, who are f*cking hilarious. They’re the funniest people I know. They’ve invited me out to gay bars before, and I said, ‘Look, guys, I’ve got to draw the line there.’ That’s where a photo will get taken, it will run in magazines, and before you know it, I’ll be living down the gay rumor for the rest of my life. [My brother looks like me], but he’s about an inch taller and about four shades tanner than I am. He’s a very fit young man. Believe me, he does quite well for himself.”

In a interview with The FIX, Chris Evans discussed how having a gay brother and sisters helped him “cultivate compassion and understanding” for people with identities that differ from his own.

“I’ve never felt any sort of backlash or friction as a result of the stance I’ve taken in my career in support of [my brother] or any other human rights… hopefully, it stays that way going forward,” said Evans.

“It’s important to understand, whether it’s growing up with women, whether it’s growing up with other ethnic groups, it’s important to experience anything different from what you know,” he continued, “to encourage and cultivate compassion and understanding.”

“Growing up with women helped me, but growing up in the theater helped me, growing up in a progressive community helped me. I think it’s really important to put faces to the situations that we’re navigating as a society.”

Chris Evans went on The Ellen Show to promote his new film, Captain America: Civil War, and also managed to raise funds for charity by showing off his hot bod.

And he’s been more than happy to tease his audience with his close to perfect body at several occasions.

Just take a look at this hot video compilation:

But does that make Chris Evans gay?

I would love to be wrong on this one, but I really don’t think so…

NKOTB’s Jonathan Knight Engaged to Boyfriend

0

New Kids on the Block member Jonathan Knight has proposed to his longtime boyfriend, personal trainer Harley Rodriguez.

Knight popped the question when the couple was vacationing in Africa.

“We were in Africa, our parents were there — our moms were there — and I just figured this was the time to pop the question and make it official,” Knight revelaed on Sirius Radio’s The Jenny McCarthy Show.

“We were on the Zambezi River—it’s right above Victoria Falls. We took a nighttime raft dinner, just the four of us out on the river, there was like a hippopotamus in the background. It was a super moon. It was just absolutely beautiful, it was so romantic.”

The couple met back in 2008, when NKOTB released their comeback album The Block.

“We were rehearsing the day I met him. He’s a trainer at Barry’s Bootcamp, so I would be with the band all day, then the only time I got to see him was to go take his class,” Knight told ET. “I’d take his class then we’d go for dinner afterwards. He’s been around from the beginning and seen [NKOTB’s comeback] morph into what it is today.”

Jonathan Knight said his boyfriend had no clue that a proposal was coming, even though they both have considered their relationship similar to marriage, and they have taken each other’s names on social media.

The couple was ecstatic after last year’s monumental Supreme Court ruling, which legalized gay marriage nationwide.

“Me and Harley called each other right after it happened and were crying our eyes out on the phone,” says Knight.

“It’s just something that’s been long overdue and it was really aggravating to see other countries have it legal,” he added. “In Massachusetts it’s been legal [since 2004], so I always felt if my state can do it why are other states not doing it? To have it done nationally was awesome.”

In the interview with ET, Knight also said that he thinks the world has been moving forward on LGBT issues and that it has become easier to come out.

“If we were then where we are today, I would have been openly gay from day one with the New Kids and it wouldn’t have been an issue,” he said. “Back then there was such a stigma that I couldn’t even tell my best friend. These girls I went to prom with were really good friends and today most girls love gay guys and would be like, ‘Yeah! Let’s go to prom!’”

“Being able to be open back then, we would’ve just had a better time. I know I would have.”

How to Tell If He’s Gay

How to tell if a guy is gay? – Here are some signs that may show if he is playing for our team

What do you do if you meet this really hot dude and need to find out if he is gay so you can make a move on him? Well, you could just ask him of course, but life isn’t always that simple. He may be a friend you are afraid of losing, or you could just be afraid. Period. So here are some good – although admittedly stereotypical – advice on how to tell if a guy is gay.

His relationships

Has he had any previous relationships? With this we mean real, confirmable relationships and not some fuzzy stories about all the super-hot women he was sleeping with on his last trip to Cancun. Where he just happened to travel all alone without any friends to confirm his conquests…

Certainly he may just be a shy person having problems hooking up with the opposite sex. But chances are also that he is more interested in guys than in women and that he just haven’t dared to admit it to himself yet. You may just be the one he has been waiting for helping him getting out his shell/closet.

His wandering eyes

When you are hanging out with your friend, does he light up every time a pretty girl passes by? Single straight guys quickly loses interest in you if they see an opportunity for flirting with a woman.

And if his wandering eyes tend to follow other guys instead of women, then there is no doubt. Unfortunately for you though, that also probably means he’s not that into you

His compliments

Does your crush notice every time you have a new haircut or compliment you on those really cool new jeans you just bought? Either he is a flaming metrosexual or chances are that he is in fact gay. Straight men usually just aren’t that interested in your appearance and rarely notices those cute little outfits you are wearing.

And if he compliments your girlfriend on her new Prada-boots, move forward with confidence (right, Elle Woods?) There is no way a straight man knows his way around women’s shoe brands, maybe unless he’s just been doing inventory during a very expensive divorce settlement.

How to Tell If He's Gay

His idols

Many gay men adore people – and especially women – with strong and bigger-than-life personalities. People that dare to be different and who are not afraid of being judged by others are often admired.

So if your love interest suddenly bursts out with “No more wire hangers!” or starts humming “It’s raining men,” he may definitely be playing for our team. A lot of Madonna, Britney and Miley tunes on his iPod is not a bad indication either.

And that is how to tell if a guy is gay. Or, at least they can be some signs of being gay. But, of course, you may really never know unless you actually ask him.

A Relationship of Convenience

Is a relationship of convenience without love or respect really worth it?

Dear Max,
I am 25. I have been in a relationship with a man for 3 years and he is now 51. Our relationship is hard and very difficult.

We don’t communicate very well, sex is almost non-existent, and I feel too often as if I am a possession. He is not my sugar daddy, he has never paid a bill of mine. I am a full time student, I work full time and I am a member of the Nat’l guard.

I always hoped when I left my wife to pursue this relationship that his and mine would be similar to my wife’s and mine. Laughing, spending time together, long talks, similar interests, and two people working towards one goal.

But I was mistaken. We seem to only be roommates in a home owned by his ex-boyfriend who doesn’t want any of us to make any one aware that any of us are gay.

I don’t know what exactly I am asking, I just thought you would have some advice on the subject. I think I feel it’s a relationship of convenience right now not of love or respect.

–Confused

Dear Confused,
it seems to me that you already know what to do. I don’t have anything against dating older people, but 30 years difference it is quite a big difference. Even though the age difference is not affecting you, seems to me that it could be a factor in your relationship.

You are right when you say it is a relationship of convenience. Relationships are supposed to be fun like you said. You are supposed to laugh together, have similar interests and work towards one goal. You know that and you know there is someone there waiting for you.

So do me a favor… stop wasting your time and wasting your boyfriend’s time and talk about your relationship with him. Tell him how you feel. Work something out with him to either fix it or break up and remain friends.

Like I always tell people, you only live once. Why not be happy?

Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors

The Gay Venice of America is a vibrant and exciting gay destination year-round.

Fort Lauderdale, which has transformed itself into Florida’s leading gay vacation destination over the past couple of decades, continues to turn heads with the spectacular redevelopment of its stunning beachfront. This neighborhood with a number of gay resorts has seen the opening of several upscale, gay-friendly hotels, including the Atlantic, the Ritz-Carlton, and the W Hotel.

New bars, restaurants, and attractions also continue to open throughout the city and in the neighboring community of Wilton Manors, helping to make the region a vibrant and exciting gay destination year-round.

In deciding where to stay in Fort Lauderdale, consider whether you’d prefer a gay, clothing-optional resort or a larger mainstream property. Among the latter is the charming Riverside Hotel, set along fashionable Las Olas Boulevard. This natty 1936 property recently completed a stunning, multimillion-dollar makeover. The dashing Atlantic offers unobstructed ocean views from the majority of its spacious, airy rooms, all of them with Bose CD-stereos, lovely patios, and small kitchens.

The Ritz-Carlton is even more sumptuous: Most rooms overlook the ocean or Intracoastal Waterway, and they come with such deluxe perks as butler service, a fabulous spa, and leather furniture. The W Hotel Fort Lauderdale offer panoramic views of both the city and the ocean, all while you enjoy a swim in the rooftop pool.

Among the gay resorts, the upscale property that spearheaded Fort Lauderdale’s growth into a major gay destination is the Royal Palms, and it continues to shine as one of the nation’s premier small gay hotels. Perks here include complimentary snacks, wine, and beer, CD players and VCRs in many units, glass-brick showers with high-end bath amenities, and dedicated top-notch service. Guests can relax all day around the stunning pool with a waterfall and fiber-optic lighting. There are several other fine upscale resorts of comparable repute, including Pineapple Point, a handsome 1930s spread that has the grace and style of a Caribbean plantation.

The more reasonably priced Elysium Resort, just 200 yards from the beach, has perfectly comfortable rooms. Here you’ll always find friendly guys lounging on the expansive sundeck, with its hot tub, hammock, and tropical bar – there are two heated pools. Even the simplest rooms at nearby Villa Venice are warm and attractive, with refrigerators and microwaves. With its friendly staff and an extensive pool area where breakfast is served, the resort draws an energetic, fun-in-the-sun bunch.

The Worthington Inn
The Worthington Guest House

The similarly priced Worthington Guest House ranks among the cruisier resorts in town, with a playful vibe and attractive grounds for sunning and swimming au naturale. The same owners opened the neighboring Alcazar Resort, also featuring a frisky ambience and lovely rooms.

The Grand Resort, whose urbane decorative scheme contrasts markedly with the tropical beachy ambience of Fort Lauderdale beach; is one of the few gay lodgings with a gym. With about 30 rooms, the Schubert Resort, fashioned out of a retro-cool 1950s hotel compound, affords a similar level of opulence and alluring facilities, including a cafe with a full bar.

Although it’s set a short drive inland from the beach, the Coral Reef Guest House is a worthwhile option thanks to its attractive gardens, massage offerings, and eight cheerfully furnished, reasonably priced rooms. One of the closest resorts to the many gay bars and restaurants in Wilton Manors, Cabanas Guest House appeals to social butterflies, with its 10-man Jacuzzi and eight-man aromatherapy steam room. The posh rooms have goose-down comforters, Wi-Fi, and CD/MP3 players.

Fort Lauderdale is less about sightseeing than Miami or Orlando – people come here to relax in the sun, socialize, and shop. This latter activity you can enjoy at the famed Sawgrass Mills Mall, whose more than 300 designer outlets include Donna Karan, Saks, Ann Taylor, and Macy’s. Or just stroll along Las Olas, which abounds with fashion boutiques and jewelry shops.

It’s also a city built on and around water, and there are myriad opportunities for sightseeing cruises, fishing charters, sailing trips, scuba-diving excursions, and kayak tours – many of the local accommodations work closely with area boating and sailing outfitters. But if you do have a hankering for a bit of culture, catch a play or concert at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale is also a great place to while away the occasional rainy afternoon. It’s known for its first-rate collection of works by leading American impressionist painter William Glackens.

The city’s dining scene continues to evolve. At Johnny V, a hip Las Olas restaurant helmed by celeb chef Johnny Vinczencz – you might try ancho-cinnamon-grilled pork tenderloin or corn-dusted yellowtail snapper with smoked-pepper relish.

Or consider one of Fort Lauderdale’s several gay faves, such as Kitchenetta Trattoria, who serves some of the best Italian food in the region, including knockout ricotta cheesecake for dessert. A favorite piano cabaret in Wilton Manors, Tropics offers above-average Continental fare, such as a prosciutto-pocket starter – a pastry stuffed with prosciutto, apples, walnuts, and mozzarella.

Wilton Manors is also home to Rosie’s, a former Hamburger Mary’s restaurant that’s still a convivial spot for casual pub fare and socializing, and Galanga, known for its outstanding sushi and well-prepared Thai food. For dessert, coffee, and wine, or delicious sandwiches during the day, be sure to stop by breezy and hip Stork’s Bakery. The Naked Grape is a handsome little wine bar with light food and live music most nights as well as a nice selection of microbrew beers to go along with the vino.

Fort Lauderdale / Wilton Manors pulses with gay bars. Georgie’s Alibi is somewhat of a local landmark and is popular almost every night of the week. The Manor is modeled after The Abbey in West Hollywood, and the huge space is crowded on weekend nights.

Leather bars like the dungeonesque Ramrod, with its Tom of Finland artwork, always draw big crowds. Scandals Saloon is a country bar with live performances, dancing & sing-a-longs. Cubby Hole is a neighborhood bar for bear lovers, while Hunter’s are a slick, happening video bar. There’s something for everybody in this constantly growing gay resort community.
